Membership
The Society has over 250 members from about 40 countries.
Individual membership in the Society is open to anyone engaged in research, education or praxis involving the respective branches of knowledge pertaining to the focus of the Society and who agree with the aims of the Society. Corporate membership is open to all institutions and organizations which meet the criteria set forth in the previous sentence.
Membership benefits
ISIR members become part of a unique community of professors, researchers and students, who are interested in various aspects of inventories.
Through the membership
- you will always be aware of the current events, research topics, joint program opportunities around the world;
- receive the ISIR e-newsletter;
- you are entitled to discounted registration fee at the biannual ISIR Symposia
- you can present your paper “in absentia” at the Symposia
- you can participate in the ISIR Summer Schools
Membership can be obtained by sending an application to the Secretariat and paying the membership fee, which is determined annually by the Executive Committee. Please note that membership year lasts from September 1 till August 31.
