The main theme of this summer school is to discuss how advanced inventory management can improve material and capacity efficiency. Inventory management of raw and recycled materials, semi-finished and finished goods affects resource efficiency and improves sustainability. |

The Mini-Symposium is organised by the Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies (MEDIFAS) and ISIR jointly with Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT). Researchers are invited to attend this three-day mini-symposium and to submit papers for presentation on applications and developments of MRP Theory and related topics. |

This year the session is being co-organized by Felipe Schwartzman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and Thomas Winberry of Chicago Booth. The ISIR encompasses research not just on inventories but also on related areas such as plant and equipment investment, or inventory-theoretic approaches to other areas of economics, including money and liquidity.
